In 1961 watchmaker André Mouche and his wife Gracia Mouche established the watch company André Mouche SA in Fahy, Canton Jura. André Mouche‘s goal was to produce a watch that can also be worn as an item of jewellery.

He created the watch with a cover, which is still produced today. So that the watch could be worn with most outfits, his wife painted the watch in a selection of different colours.

Beautifully painted and inset with jewels, these Marquis-bracelets became highly demanded in the retail market. André Mouche Company is member of the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH.
